Reflections of a Blueberry
By Amanda I. Greene
Reflections of a Blueberry takes place in an abstract imaginary world and reflects the beginning of my journey to develop self-esteem and learn to follow my heart. As it turns out, this book is as much - if not more - of an illustrated poem for the inner child in adults as for children. It introduces Squishy Blueberry in Long Ago, cartwheeling aimlessly about when he runs into Pepe the (barking) Flea who shows Squishy that he has not only been going in circles, but in someone else’s dream! The light bulb goes on for Squishy and he takes his first leap into the unknown world of his dreams.

Reviews[It's] like a commencement talk disguised as a lovable story to fire the flea in every child." ~ Pico Iyer
"Illustrations are a huge standout of this book, with fabulous colors and textures. Even the night color palette is smart, and the textures and patterns of the magic carpet bring the imagery into 3D effect. Very well done." ~ Writer's Digest
